Faydrin sat back for a moment. He needed time to digest everything that had happened the last twenty-four hours.It had started with an odd feeling. He had been out looking for worms root, when he knew, more than felt that he should head to the pass. Being one to always follow his instincts, he had headed towards the pass.That’s when he had found the four strangers. Each unconscious, and each touching a bit of a triscone. He had not seen a triscone in many years. Not since the outlaw of magic. Rushing to the strangers, he first checked upon their condition. Each appeared stable, and well enough to move. Then, slowly he approached the triscone. Reading the incantation upon it, he visibly shook. Calling upon his sister, he got the four strangers moved, and each in turn had awoken. All accept the queen. She had not even stirred. This bothered him more then he was willing to let on to his sister. “Faydrin.” His sisters’ words interrupted his thoughts. “Huh? What?” He said. “What are we going to do? The guard was not to return. What is going on, and who is the other one?” She asked. He had been wondering the same questions his sister now spoke allowed for some time now. What were they going to do with the guard?
